We’ve made it to Klamath Falls, our first stop of the trip, safely.

The highlight of our night happened after we arrived Klamath. On our way to dinner we got pulled over by the cops because we unknowingly made an illegal U-turn. We later learned that in Oregon you cannot make a U-turn within the city limits unless the sign indicates it’s permissible. Fortunately, the cops let us off with only a warning.

We went to dinner at the infamous Black Bear Diner. The food was actually pretty good; however, we lost our appetite when we saw a mouse skirting across the floor. We assumed this was a regular occurrence because no one in the restaurant seemed to mind, except us. We decided to ask for the check and head out.

It’s now Saturday morning.  We are on our way to Crater Lake to spend a few hours hiking, before heading to Bend later tonight.
